January 29, 2021 is Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Awareness Day. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and its independent Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), invite you to join us for a special, virtual program.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Americans physically, emotionally, and financially. Although we can’t change this past year’s challenges, we can share what the IRS can do for you and those you serve. In our program, we will discuss the following topics:
- Pre-filing season tips to prevent refund delays;
- Taxpayer assistance services, like TAS, free tax preparation at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites, and legal assistance from a low-income taxpayer clinic; and
- Taxpayer benefits, like the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Recovery Rebate Credit.
You will have the opportunity to register for 1 of the following 3 program times to fit your schedule:
